Agroecological/ancestral practices are at the heart of our work! We are greatly influenced by the Terra Preta anthropogenic soil found in the Amazon Basin. As certified permaculture designers, some important principles we follow include, observing and interacting with our landscape, designing from patterns to details, valuing diversity, and capturing and storing energy through solar panels,

rainwater harvesting, and graywater management.

 

Our tropical no-till methods are a cornerstone of our work and include the use cover crops/green manures, BEAM style composting and compost tea spraying, as well as integrated pest and weed management.

 

We use absolutely no synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides to grow beautiful, nutritionally dense food.
